Procureurswoning

Procureurswoning is a "Rijksmonument" located in Broek in Waterland, a town north of Amsterdam. The house was originally built in 1775 and was restored in its original style in 1980.

It features 'cupboard' beds that date back to the 18th century and a hall with a unique, cylindrical ceiling covered in a painting of a sky filled with birds that are native to the surrounding region. The interior is not open to visitors. A walk to the national monument to view the outside is certainly well worth it.
