Fietsbrug Olstgracht

A feather-light structure of five leaning suspension poles guyed to the span by steel cables above and below the deck. The overall effect recalls the rigging of a sailing ship. The slender structure provides an elegant transition between the burly volume of The Wave by the same architect at one bridgehead, and Claus & Kaan’s Silverline building at the other.
