Hagedoornplein Branch Amsterdam Public Library (OBA Hagedoornplein)
Housed in one of the aisles of historic Sint-Ritakerk on Hagedoornplein, this branch has plenty of character. It has a collection of 25,000 books, 1800 audio books, as well as CD-ROMs and games. There are nearly a hundred national and international newspapers and periodicals to choose from. In addition to having a comfortable roundtable, the library is equipped with quiet work and study areas.
It also has a fun children’s corner with books for babies and small children. The library hosts regular art exhibitions showcasing work by local artists and annual photo exhibits featuring historic images of Amsterdam North.
