Stubborn and challenging
Le Garage was opened in 1990 by Joop Braakhekke after a design by architect Cees Dam.
The round light circles and mirrors refer to the theater and the atmosphere was from day one: see and be seen. The design is still timeless, but it has been adapted to the contemporary atmosphere. Le Garage is still an informal metropolitan restaurant with an honest, tasty kitchen. Always stubborn and challenging, just as the audience has been over the years.
