Luxembourg

Anyone who knows their way around Amsterdam knows Luxembourg on the Spui. Many people who work on the canals in the area, including publishers and writers, come to the spacious business. It is a place to linger for a long time: with a perfect espresso, a tasty salad or a good glass of wine.

Since 1987

Café Luxembourg opened its doors at the end of the 1980s and immediately became a household name and was honorably included in the select group of Grand Cafés in the center of Amsterdam. The interior is based on Parisian cafes and bistros of yesteryear. The large room with conservatory full of art deco details, has moody colors and tasteful furniture.

The classic cuisine is derived from the authentic French brasserie, renewed and perfected with inspiration from the Netherlands. An unbeatable favorite is of course the Croquet van Holtkamp, which is enjoyed by enthusiasts from far and wide. A great place for a lunch break while strolling through the Amsterdam streets. Enjoy a drink or an extensive dinner, it's all possible here.
