The Japanese business community in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is comprised of around 350 companies. The three largest Japanese banks are present in the region: The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, the Mizuho Bank and the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. More than 4,000 Japanese internationals live in the Amsterdam Area, with Amstelveen in particular being home to a big part of the Japanese community.
