The hostel offers free Wi-Fi and also features a cosy café where you can relax and grab an affordable drink or snack. At the Shelter there is no curfew, no lock-out, no drugs and no alcohol but there are free lockers and a luggage storage room. As the hostel is run by a Christian non-profit organization, Christian activities are available for those who are interested.
The Jordaan is one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful neighbourhoods, with narrow streets, picturesque canals, 17th-century houses and great boutiques. Many of the city’s museums, sights and attractions are within walking distance, but there’s also a bus and tram stop just around the corner. The Anne Frank house is just a 5-minute walk away.
