Eating, drinking, and hanging out in hip re-purposed spaces

The hostel is home to a labyrinth of sprawling amenities, and, in true Generator form, it’s packed full of nooks and crannies where you can hang out. The core social space, named after famous Dutch writer Nescio, includes a café, open from breakfast to dinner, which provides grab and go items and a range of locally-sourced dishes. The Auditorium is open day and night as a laid-back lounge, with its original lecture-style seating and the professor’s desk repurposed as a quirky central bar. The Library also harks back to its original function, as an intimate space with historical wooden décor – the perfect place to unwind. The boiler room has become a secret underground speakeasy bar, and the tailored programme of events includes a coffee lab, beer tastings, Vanmoof bikes, movie screenings, and more.
