Muiderslot

Muiderslot is possibly the Netherlands’ most impressive and best preserved castle. Given its drawbridge, five towers, moat and battlements, it will come as no surprise that the castle and grounds have been used in several TV shows set in the Middle Ages. Children can take part in a scavenger hunt, can climb into the Westertoren (West Tower) and find out what it was like to wear a suit of armour. The castle hosts  special childrens’ tours on Wednesday afternoons.
