United Stripes 10 Year Anniversary Edition 2019
Ten years is certainly something to celebrate, and a raucous celebration is exactly what the United Stripes Airline team have planned to help commemorate a decade of organising massive parties. Expect high-flying beachside antics at Beachclub Bloomingdale, as well as a BBQ to help you fuel up before carrying on with the party.
Pride at the Beach 2019
Rain or shine, it's time to break out the thongs and beachwear as Pride Amsterdam heads to the beach at Zandvoort. This three-day LGBTI festival celebrates diversity and is all about having fun in the sun. Expect great music, beach walks, art, drag queens, yoga, films and more! Don’t miss the event’s annual parade which snakes through Zandvoort’s streets (and along the beach), as well as the closing fireworks display.

Need a hit of British tradition? Fancy dining on some good old Yorkshire puddings and gravy and a pint of bitter? Well, head to Zandvoort for the British Festival, which celebrates the UK’s unique culture, including sausage and mash, G&Ts, Pimms and more. There’ll also be British sports and games on the beach, as well as parties and performances. Don’t miss the classic British car parade through the village, a race circuit and a classic Routemaster.

Dance Valley: Eat, sleep, rave, repeat
The world’s longest-running dance festivals celebrates 25 years in 2019. Dance Valley features every type of dance music you could care to make a box with your hands at and is populated by stages which look like the results of a hallucinogenic dream Walt Disney might have had had he been a clubber. Superstar DJ David Guetta has been announced as a headliner, and the line-up also features Benny Rodrigues and Ferry Corsten.

Zaandvoort’s top spots, including the international race circuit, shops, bars, beach pavilions and museums play host to a huge array of activities. Every first Sunday of the month sees both Forteiland and the Bunkermuseum welcome the public for special open days. Take a tour of the island or museum and learn all about the incredible history of a site which have played an important role in world wars and Amsterdam's UNESCO World Heritage listed defence line. You’ll find them both by the dunes of IJmuiden.

Harbour Festival IJmond
It’s all about fish at the 2019 Harbour Festival IJmond. This two-day fish-focused event offers workshops on how to prepare fish, a fish-smoking contest, talks on sustainable fishing plus a wide array of musical performances, theatre, markets and more. You can also get more acquainted with IJmuiden’s wonderful harbour on a tour.
