How does the ticket work?
The Amsterdam Travel Ticket is a paper smart card. Remember to always check in and out - use it to check in at the start of your journey, and to check out at the end of every trip with bus, tram, metro and train. The map that accompanies the ticket contains an explanation of how the system works.
From what time is the ticket valid?
The ticket is valid from the first time you check in until 04:00 after the last valid day (depending on whether you have the one, two or three day version). The day starts at 00:00 (midnight).
