An accredited IB World School

Amity International School Amsterdam has officially been accredited as an IB World School for the Primary Years Programme. Located in Amstelveen, the school has a community of 250 students between the ages of 3 and 15. Within the next several years, it aims to be fully authorised for all IB (International Baccalaureate) programmes.

A new building for learning and development

International School Almere will construct a new campus in Annapark which will serve the needs of 700 students. Construction is expected to begin in autumn 2021 with a goal of completing the project by spring 2023.

The new campus will help the school meet an increasing demand for international education in Almere. If needed, the building can be expanded to accommodate 1,000 students in the future.

Going from strength to strength

Since opening in January 2018, Optimist International School (OIS) has grown from 25 to 200 students. More than 30 nationalities are represented at the school, which is located 15 minutes from Schiphol Airport.

Recently, market research consultancy Scholen met Succes conducted a parent survey for OIS. The school received an 8.01 score for overall satisfaction, which is higher than the average score across the Netherlands. OIS also did better than average in terms of student happiness, receiving an 8.85 score.
