3DHubs, an Amsterdam-based startup that offers an online platform for 3D printing, has announced that it has raised $18 million in a Series C round led by Endeit Capital with participation from Hearst Ventures, Balderton Capital and EQT Ventures.
Airsquire, which aims to make processes in construction more effective and less error-prone by automating construction verification, received half a million Euros in funding from henQ. The startup is run by Kyle Tan from Singapore and You Yue from China, alumni of Rockstart’s AI programme who chose Amsterdam as the base for their company after being accepted to the accelerator in 2017.
The brain scanning scale-up Braingineers, which uses brain scans, eye tracking and data analysis to see how people react to websites and advertisements, has raised €1 million from Joa Ventures, an investment fund specialised in science-related startups. The funding will go towards expanding the company’s London office. Braingineers is currently developing a virtual AI ‘guinea pig’ using data from brain scans of thousands of people, which will allow the company to offer its services in a fraction of the time it currently takes.
Brand New Day
The Amsterdam-based startup Brand New Day has secured €25 million from investors that include current backers Hartwig, ASR and VvAA. Brand New Day offers digital pension banking. The company is planning to use this funding to accelerate its growth and attract more clients.
Fastned, a startup that’s building a European network of fast charging stations for electric vehicles, has raised more than €10 million via the issue of bonds. The funding will be used for the further expansion and development of its network.
Talpa Media Investments has become a shareholder in OK, a startup offering an app for payment and loyalty programmes.
The startup Publishizer, which is aiming to take on the book publishing industry, has raised “around €376,000” from Arches Capital, an Amsterdam-based group of business angels.
