SaaS-based energy data management platform Energyworx, which helps utility companies monetise and navigate the transition to renewable energy, has announced a €1 million Series A extension funding round led by EDP Ventures. Energyworx has offices in Amsterdam, Utrecht and San Francisco and will use the new funding to speed up international growth and scale development in the European and American markets.
Sympower, which offers a software platform that allows for flexibility in the electricity consumption of processes and machines, raised €3 Million in Series A funding round. The company is a scale-up and aims to help balance the energy grid while saving users money. It plans to use the investment – which comes from Dutch investment funds PDENH and Social Impact Ventures – to accelerate international growth as the world pursues a greener future.
Shaving startup Boldking has received a €10 million investment from Dutch company Slingshot Ventures, Britain’s Jamjar Investments and various private investors. Boldking claims to have half a million customers and sells razors and blades through a subscription system, in addition to shaving foam and skincare products aimed at men. The new investment will help it expand across Europe, where it is currently active in ten countries.
Co-browsing company Surfly has procured a €2 million investment from Alma Mundi Insurtech Fund. Describing itself as a “visual engagement tool for sharing web sessions online,” Surfly was founded in Amsterdam in 2012. The company offers technology that allows users to see the browser window of a customer and guide them quickly and intuitively, as if they were sitting beside them. The new funds will be used to support its partners while leveraging Mundi Club’s large network.
