Rodeo lassoes €7.5 million to support the creative industry with project management assistance
As the name suggests, the creative industry does not need any help in being creative – but it often needs assistance when it comes to project management. Rodeo taps into this market by offering intuitive, automated and scalable project management software. Already active in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK and the US, the company has now raised €7.5 million for global expansion from No Such Ventures, a Dutch hands-on investment firm that will now be a shareholder in the company.
Online skills assessment platform TestGorilla becomes king of the jungle with €1 million in seed funding
Guided by the motto “Hire the best. No bias. No stress.”, TestGorilla is here to help with the corona-virus induced shift towards remote hiring. The online skills assessment platform is used by companies looking to assess candidates while getting to know them better. With €1 million in seed funding from CapitalT and a group of international angel investors, the company will develop new features and expand its library of more than 120 tests covering everything from SEO to accounting. Founded last summer by serial entrepreneur Wouter Durville and former Bain & Company partner Otto Verhage, TestGorilla already serves hiring and HR professionals in over 40 countries.
Marketing and advertising trackers Objective Partners secures €2 million worth of seed funding
With the Objective Partners platform, companies can track their omnichannel marketing and advertising activities, both online and offline – allowing them to make better budgeting and campaign optimisation decisions. Founded in 2014, Objective Partners gained traction with high-profile clients such as Deutsche Telekom Group, Coolblue and Vattenfall. With offices in Amsterdam, London and Singapore, the company plans to expand to in Europe and Asia using the €2 million raised in a round led by B2B investor Newion and backed by The Hatch Firm and Robbert Visser.
