Online and in-person events for developers

Many events that were scheduled to take place in Amsterdam over the next few months have moved online, making it possible to interact with others while maintaining social distancing. Others will take place face-to-face, though always check for changes that may occur. No matter where and how they’re being held, these events still have much to offer, including expert guest speakers, panel discussions and even afterparties.

Angular NL – 24 July

Hosted by Passionate People, a consultancy that connects full-stack developers with clients across the Netherlands, Angular NL offers a chance to learn, inspire and make new connections. Angular developers from around the world will participate, sharing their knowledge and experiences as they discuss things like E2E testing and best practices.

 

KubeCon – CloudNativeCon Europe 2020 – 17 to 20 August

This flagship conference brings together technologists and adopters from open source and cloud communities for four days to advance cloud native computing. You can also gamify your experience and win prizes when you earn points by virtually visiting sponsor booths, attending sessions and answering trivia questions. Scholarships are available, too. 

React Live – 11 September

Passionate People are back again with React Live! Over the course of one day, you can watch experts in React and React Native share everything they know. They’ll talk about testing, hooks, performance and lots of other important topics, and there are panel discussions and chances to ask questions, too. 

Vue.js Global – 17 & 18 September

Taking place over two days, Vue.js Global will bring together attendees from over 100 countries and is the largest event of its kind. Also hosted by Passionate People, it explores practically every aspect of this JavaScript framework, which is used to create user interfaces and single-page applications.

Frontend Love – 1 & 2 October

Another jam-packed event from Passionate People, Frontend Love will connect JavaScript leaders while helping them enhance their skills. Top engineers and developers will discuss everything from emojis to security and how to give projects a smaller carbon footprint.

React Summit Amsterdam – 15 & 16 October

Get autumn off to a good start at this must-attend React conference. Frontend and full stack engineers will converge on Amsterdam for intensive workshops, exciting meetups and insightful conferences that encourage community spirit.
