Taking a look at the latest developments in tech

On 26 and 27 May, the Emerce Next conference will showcase the latest in technology with the help of leading brands and speakers focused on important trends and innovations. StartupAmsterdam will participate in two sessions, bringing valuable insights to an international audience.

The conference will feature 20 hours’ worth of keynote speeches and case studies, including deep dive sessions with tech experts set to take place over Google Hangouts. Representatives from leading companies and organisations, including Microsoft and VU Amsterdam, will participate as well.

Sharing knowledge and advice with entrepreneurs

StartupAmsterdam will take part in two conversations at the conference: What does it take to be an entrepreneur? and Bridging the tech talent gap: alternative hiring solutions for companies

During the first event, Rajiv Laigsingh of bicycle courier company Bringly will join Nelli Jeloudar of Bundleboon, which offers curated boxes of kid’s clothes. Together with Startup Amsterdam’s Alexandra Belicova, they will discuss what it takes to found and run a tech startup with a focus on coping during a crisis.

At the second conversation, Wouter Kleijn of Hack Your Future, which trains refugees for new careers, will join Belicova for a discussion centred on the shortage of tech talent, alternative hiring solutions and how the coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting the labour market.

Win free tickets to the conference

Registration for the conference is free for anyone under the age of 30. There is also a raffle for attendees over 30 and ten free tickets will be given to winners.
