This year, some of Amsterdam's leading accelerators and incubators are hosting programmes to help the city's startups scale and go international. Many are focused on sustainability, but others welcome any company with a good idea. Some deadlines are coming up soon, so start preparing your applications now and get ready to work hard.
ACE Incubation Programme – Tech & Science
Looking to start a company focused on science or tech? The ACE Incubation Program – Tech & Science lasts 10 weeks and offers support and training, along with access to mentors, business leaders and entrepreneurs. A new group of startups are selected for ACE’s programmes twice a year and they are open to researchers, students and professionals alike.
Deadline: 23 March
Designed for B2B or B2B2C startups with a validated product in advertising, marketing or commerce tech, Collider 2.0 helps developing companies prepare for their first major VC round. Participating later-stage startups receive financial support and work closely with a team that will help them make the leap from a project to a real company.

Postcode Lotteries Green Challenge 2020
One of the largest competitions dedicated to sustainable entrepreneurship, the Postcode Lotteries Green Challenge welcomes startups from across Europe to submit their business plans, which should be focused on sustainability. One lucky winner receives €500,000 to develop their service or product and bring it to market, and there are prizes for runners-up, too.
Deadline: 1 April
The world’s biggest competition for green business ideas, ClimateLaunchpad strives to unleash cleantech potential that can help fight climate change. The programme begins with a two-day bootcamp followed by regional and national finals where startups present their ideas to a jury. Winners then move onto the Global Grand Final, where cash prizes await.

Startupbootcamp Media 2020 Accelerator
Startupbootcamp is looking for companies focussed on using new tech and business models to provide solutions for the creation, distribution and consumption of content for its Media 2020 Accelerator. The three-month programme provides access to a network of experts, investors, mentors and corporate partners, along with masterclasses and pitching opportunities to encourage acceleration.

2020 Booking Booster
Sustainable travel is increasingly popular and it’s also necessary for a healthy future, so Booking.com is helping pave the way with the 2020 Booking Booster, which helps participants scale up and increase their impact. With a focus on solutions that can help accommodations become sustainable, the programme is looking for startups specialising in water, waste, destinations and communities, energy and greenhouse gases and biodiversity and ecosystems.
Antler Startup Generator
During two phases, the Antler Startup Generator programme will help you find a cofounder while developing and validating your business idea. The first phase includes a grant and lasts 10 weeks, after which some participants are chosen for the second half, which takes four months and concludes with a demo day where you can pitch to hundreds of angel investors.
ABN AMRO, Impact Hub Amsterdam and The Next Web (TNW) are joining forces to help mid-sized companies in their networks become more sustainable through Impact Nation, a new 100-day programme. Combining tech, finance and sustainability, it helps participants map out the challenges and opportunities they face while benefitting from coaching and help with everything from branding to legal matters.
Techleap Access Program
Created to support the most promising scale-ups in the Netherlands, the Techleap Access Program helps companies accelerate their growth here and abroad. Participants enjoy access to new markets, funding opportunities and the country’s top talent. Scaling experts and coaches will help startups tackle their biggest challenges, increasing the odds of success.
