How Wilderness is going for more business in Europe
The British social media agency Wilderness has opened a new office in Amsterdam. With the new opening on Herengracht, the firm is looking to extend its reach across Europe. The launch of the new office is the continuation of four years of rapid growth for the agency. The Amsterdam office is headed up by Meredith Mogenson, formerly of Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey and Publicis in NYC; her goals include growing Wilderness’s influence across Europe by adding to its growing roster of consumer brand and entertainment clients.
“An epicentre for creativity and innovation”
With the move to Amsterdam, Wilderness joins a flourishing creative industry – the city is already home to many internationally renowned agencies, including 180 Kingsday, Wieden + Kennedy, 72andSunny, DDB Unlimited and Anomaly. With an international community, multilingual talent, a laid-back lifestyle, creative ambition and the will to innovate, Amsterdam is a haven for creatives. In a statement, Mogensen said: “Amsterdam has long been an epicentre for creativity and innovation and we’re thrilled to be joining that community. As brands face increasing complexity in how to connect with consumers, Wilderness Amsterdam is poised to create effective social media solutions for domestic and European clients alike.”
