The FinTech startup Blanco, which is developing a platform for asset managers, has raised €2 million in a second financing round. This is to roll out their platform and to accelerate the roll-out of another product in Germany and France.
The Next Closet
Amsterdam-based fashion startup The Next Closet has raised another round. The total external investment in the company now comes up to €3 million. The Next Closet offers a platform for selling and buying second-hand designer fashion.
The Dutch private equity firm NPM Capital has acquired a 35% stake in Dutch FinTech startup Ohpen. Ohpen, which has raised a total of €40 million in funding so far, is a cloud-based banking engine active in the Dutch midsize banking market; it plans to extend its offering to large banks and the pension market in the near future.
Project Cece, a tech and fashion startup for fair and sustainable e-commerce, has announced that it has closed its first round of funding from the student-run investment fund ASIF Ventures. So far, the company is active in the Netherlands and Germany; the founders plan to use the new funds from ASIF Ventures to expand into the UK.
Amsterdam-based accelerator Rockstart has closed €15 million for its AgriFood accelerator and fund, making agrifood the first sector where Rockstart offers support from the initial phase all the way up to Series B.
