The good fight
Project Cece fights for fair fashion by making it easier to shop consciously. By means of an online aggregator, the platform collects products from sustainable clothing brands, both big and small, to help shoppers make fair choices easily. So far, the company is active in the Netherlands and Germany. The founders plan to use the new funds from ASIF Ventures to expand into the UK.
A fashion trailblazer
Just two years after being founded by Noor Veenhoven and sisters Melissa and Marcella Wijngaarden – then all students – Project Cece has become a trailblazer in the fair fashion movement. With over 529 brands and more than 20,000 items (and counting), Project Cece offers shoppers the largest selection of sustainable and fair fashion available online.
A venture capital fund run by four students, ASIF Ventures invests exclusively in startups founded or co-founded by students or recent graduates in Amsterdam. Project Cece is its second investment after FinTech startup and ACE alumnus Dyme.
