In the morning, find out how you can support entrepreneurs working in gender, migration and circular economy in a session hosted by Impact Hub and C-Change and featuring speakers such as The Next Women and Circle Economy. In a parallel session, explore circular business strategies with TU Delft in a meetup that is Part of Impact Hub’s circular collaboration with the Province of Noord-Holland.
In the afternoon, Oneplanetcrowd will share the insights you need for sustainable investing: funding companies and initiatives working on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). And in a parallel session, the New Plastic Ecosystem meetup, hear a keynote by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and attend roundtables and panels with alumni of the Plastic Free Ocean Accelerator, as well as the Port of Amsterdam, WWF Netherlands and Accenture.
The DOEN Foundation will conclude the afternoon programme by discussing the link between climate action and sustainable food - from how the current food system contributes to climate change to how companies, consumers and policymakers can lower food’s climate impact.
This full-day experience will conclude with the Heroes of Amsterdam VR screening and party. Meet inspiring initiatives working on the SDGs in Amsterdam! Heroes & Friends, who won the City of Amsterdam’s Localise the SDGs Challenge on the Social Challenges platform, have helped these initiatives share their stories through VR films.
