The IMD World Talent Ranking ranks countries based on three main categories: appeal; investment and development; readiness. These categories assess how countries perform in a wide range of areas, including education, language skills, quality of life, salaries and tax rates.
Sources for the ranking
The report covers all 63 countries in the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook. The ranking is produced using two kinds of sources: data on the one hand and responses by executives to an opinion survey. This survey annually compiles input from more than 6,000 executives from all 63 countries.
