Another addition to Amsterdam’s conference calendar
Amsterdam is a hub for financial and technological innovation, so it should come as no surprise that the Dutch capital is also at the forefront of FinTech. This – coupled with the city’s already amazing conference calendar – meant Amsterdam was a no-brainer for the European debut Blockchain: Rethink Trust, part of the popular By the Bay event series.
The conference brings together the world’s experts in blockchain engineering – as well as thought leaders in the industry. Developers, engineers, executives and more will be present at the one-day event – all to learn or master best practices for blockchain. Find the event on 29 June 2018 at the historic Beurs van Berlage Conference Centre.
An exciting programme
Blockchain: Rethink Trust boasts insightful keynotes, workshops, panels and more – each one taking a deep dive into some of the most relevant and significant aspects of blockchain. Attendees will learn about regulatory trends, the best ways to monetise blockchain and more.
As well as the latest developments in blockchain, expect insights on IoT, energy, FinTech in general and more. Speakers include Christopher Ferris (IBM’s CTO for open technology), Mariana Gómez de la Villa (ING’s global program manager) and Carlo Las Marias (co-founder of CoinAlpha).
“Blockchain is in its infancy – just like internet was 20 years ago,” says Roman Shaposhnik, co-founder of Zededa Inc and a speaker at the conference. “But just like the internet, it will allow a radical rethinking of value creation and value transfer.”
