Next-generation innovators help change global fashion industry

Fashion for Good works to find and accelerate innovative technologies and business models that have the greatest potential to support a circular apparel industry. The global initiative runs the annual programme together with Plug and Play – the world’s largest accelerator – as well as corporate partners, including adidas, C&A, Galeries Lafayette, Kering, Target and Zalando.

The 15 startups selected for the third edition of the programme were chosen from hundreds of applicants worldwide and represent varied supply chain areas, including alternative raw materials and new business models. They will follow a robust curriculum over the next 12 weeks and receive mentorship from the accelerator's partners, who will drive market validation of the innovators’ technologies – all to ready the startups for implementation at scale. In addition, the next-generation innovators will be screened for potential funding to support development of their businesses.

The selected startups are: Algiknit, BioGlitz, circular.fashion, FLOCUS, Frumat, Good on You, Mango Materials, Nano Textile, Orange Fibre, PAPTIC, PlanetCare, Provenance, Reverse Resources, Scalable Garment Technologies and Style Lend.

A graduation ceremony will take place on 14 June at the Fashion for Good hub in Amsterdam, where they will showcase their innovations to industry leaders and investors.
