Another great addition to Amsterdam’s tech scene
Since Leanplum was first founded back in 2012, the mobile-marketing company has made quite the name for itself. With top brands like NBC, Tinder and TED on its client roster, the business’ growth has skyrocketed over the past five years. And like many successful companies, Leanplum turned its gaze towards Amsterdam for its European headquarters.
It makes sense. After all, Amsterdam is highly connected, with great transport links to Europe and the rest of the world. And on top of that, the area boasts top-notch internet speeds – as well as an enviable work-life balance and standard of living. Needless to say, the company is optimistic about its new presence in Europe.
“The mobile economy in Europe is seeing tremendous growth, driving billions of dollars for brands; from social networks to entertainment to mobile commerce, the region represents one of the most engaged mobile populations in the world,” said Momchil Kyurkchiev, Leanplum's CEO and co-founder. “In Europe, enterprises are in need of a mobile platform like Leanplum to help them scale real-time engagement, meet growing privacy requirements like GDPR and deliver mobile growth strategies in fast-changing markets.”
Amsterdam: the perfect location to serve Leanplum's European clients
The new office will help Leanplum build long-lasting customer relationships and drive mobile growth for its European clients, which include Finnish mobile game developer Next Games, Dutch broadcasting company Talpa Media, German femtech company Clue and leading British supermarket Tesco. All these brands will be served directly from the Amsterdam headquarters.
“We’re building a strong team of mobile experts who understand the unique pain points of marketers from region to region,” said Oliver Stein, Leanplum Europe’s general manager. “Not only does the team speak seven languages between them – Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese – but they are available to provide on-the-ground support and respond to unique client needs in real time.”
