Influential entrepreneurs in Amsterdam
The European summit comes after successful editions in the US, Asia and Israel. It will convene around 400 of the region’s most influential entrepreneurs. Speakers and participants include Sebastian Siemiatkowski, co-founder and CEO of Swedish payments unicorn Klarna; Jacob de Geer, co-founder and CEO of iZettle, the payments platform recently bought by Paypal; Negin Mirsalehi, social media influencer and founder of a haircare business; Afrojack, Grammy-winning DJ and producer and Klaus Hommels, an influential investor who is on the Forbes Midas List, which ranks the best dealmakers in high tech and life science venture capital.
Driving positive impact
Billed as a ‘celebration of disruption, social entrepreneurship and sustainable business’, the agenda features panels, interviews, performances and keynotes as its participants share ideas and experiences, with a push towards conversations about the importance of sustainable business and social entrepreneurship as a vehicle for driving positive impact.
“Having launched the first Under 30 Europe list just three short years ago, the Under 30 community here is thriving,” says Randall Lane, Chief Content Officer at Forbes Media. “Hosting the first-ever Under 30 Summit Europe in Amsterdam means we can bring together the brightest young minds from across the region, including Under 30 members, mentors, and future list members, to discuss the most pressing issues of today and exciting opportunities of tomorrow, in a city with a history of entrepreneurship, creativity, diversity and sustainability.”
