A crash course in skills for startups
Startup Impact Week – backed by two Amsterdam-based startup studios – will give six startups the opportunity to kick-start their business in just five days. Taking place from 3-7 April 2017, the programme will teach the selected participants everything they need to know to operate a profitable, scalable business.
The programme marks the first time that crème-de-la-crème startup studios NEXT Amsterdam and We Are Builders have joined forces. The two studios are well-known for their expertise in co-founding software and tech businesses, and nurturing them into viable independent companies.
Naturally, tech startups will be favoured during the programme, but the companies must already have some form of traction or user base. The programme will further help them validate their customer segment, problem and/or solution.
An intensive accelerator programme in Amsterdam
The mini-accelerator aims to go beyond marketing, bookkeeping and entrepreneur 101, opting for a more intense, hard-and-fast learning experience. From the very beginning, Startup Impact Week keeps the startups’ assumptions, goals and models at the forefront, and every assignment will edge each company towards the important things: revenue, sales, business and – of course – repeated success.
Participation is completely free; you just need to bring your team (the founder and at least one software developer.) The programme will give participants a chance to get a foot in the door, network with key stakeholders, meet fellow startups and founders, and give back to the community. Of course, teams who perform exceptionally well during the programme will get the chance to be a part of longer-term collaborations.
