A base to serve ambitious Dutch customers

Infosys, a multinational corporation based in India, is a world leader in ICT consulting and digital transformation strategies. They currently employ more than 1,100 people in the Netherlands and serve more than 20 ambitious Dutch clients.

The company’s new state-of-the-art office in Amsterdam highlights Infosys’ commitment to further strengthen its presence in the country. Dutch people are known to be early adopters of technology, and this extends to the Netherlands’ business ecosystem. From their new location, Infosys will help their clients embrace AI, automation, data and analytics – as well as other cutting-edge new tech.

“The Netherlands is one of our largest markets in Europe, and we are encouraged with the traction we have seen in the region,” said Rajesh Krishnamurthy, Infosys’ head of Europe. “Over the past 15 years, Dutch clients and prospects have been keen adopters of new technologies, and our strengthened presence in the market will enable our customers to embrace innovations such as artificial intelligence, automation and digital services, to help them achieve their growth and digital transformations ambitions.”

A promising new partnership

The office was opened by Amsterdam’s Deputy Mayor Kajsa Ollongren and Venu Rajamony, the Indian Ambassador to the Netherlands. Also present was Mohit Joshi (Infosys’ president) and  Roshan Shetty, who oversees the company’s operations in the Netherlands. Needless to say, the office will provide yet another great opportunity for young tech talent in the city.

“International companies are very important to the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area,” said Deputy Mayor Kajsa Ollongren. “Infosys especially is a valuable partner for Amsterdam, and we are pleased that they chose to grow their presence in the city with this ultra-modern office. Through the collaboration with knowledge institutes based here, Infosys fosters innovation and creates opportunities for young talent.
