Amsterdam’s newest co-working space

Just when you thought Amsterdam’s awesome pool of co-working spaces couldn’t get any better, here’s another. Tel Aviv’s co-working-space experts, Merkspace, are setting up shop in the Dutch capital.

The cutting-edge space – opening on 1 July 2017 – will offer the world's first sports-tech innovation centre and a massive Asian incubator department to boot. Merkspace will focus on startups that wish to profit from an international network, utilising the unique opportunities to accelerate and scale up.

It’s not just for startups, though: there’ll be plenty of space for freelancers and established businesses (small and medium) as well.

A new kind of space

Merkspace's high-end services give startups the freedom to pinpoint what’s important for their specific business and accelerate accordingly. In addition, a new delegation will visit the office each month for mentoring, lectures and an investors’ breakfast – enabling tenants to capitalise from a wealth of knowledge across a range of sectors.

Perhaps the most appealing feature of Merkspace is that they actively search for business opportunities on behalf of their tenants, which is ideal for startups with smaller teams and networks. Using their own international network, Merkspace raised 3.7 million dollars for their startups last year. Likewise, the company made over 9,000 business connections for the 150 companies using their spaces.

Sound like your kind of co-working space? Merkspace are happy to let you swing by for sneak preview. They’ll even let you take one of their Birò cars for a test spin (they’re available for tenants with the all-inclusive package.)
