On 1 March, Smoke & Mirrors – a global visual effects, integrated production and post-production studio – announced they are opening a new office in Amsterdam. This marks the studio’s seventh international office and its first on mainland Europe.
“Establishing our Amsterdam studio is an extremely exciting step for us as part of our ongoing commitment to better mirror the international footprint of our clients,” said Gary Szabo, the company’s Joint Global Managing Director. “Amsterdam in particular has been an ambition of ours for some time, due to the increasing breadth of amazing creative work that is originating in the market,” he said.
Established in London in 1995, Smoke & Mirrors offers production and post-production services for the advertising, film and music industries, including visual effects, shoot supervision, CGI and more. The new Smoke & Mirrors Amsterdam location is based in a renovated canal house in the heart of the city, and the company also has offices in New York, Sao Paulo, Bangkok, Shanghai and Chennai.
