An exciting new AI accelerator in Amsterdam

Recently, we at StartupAmsterdam brought together AI experts, startups, accelerators, knowledge institutions and corporates – all to discuss what needs to be done to further develop Amsterdam’s AI scene. Thanks to the city’s innovative AI startups, great connectivity and highly skilled talent, Amsterdam is already a leading force in AI; yet, there are still things that can be done to strengthen this position. One of the main ideas to come out of the meeting was an AI accelerator that combines the knowledge and expertise of businesses and knowledge institutions.

The collaboration simply had to be between Startupbootcamp, a global family of 21 industry-focused accelerator programmes, and ACE, an Amsterdam-based incubator with a strong academic network of mentors, entrepreneurs and business professionals. Separately, the two initiatives have helped countless startups, students and entrepreneurs develop successful companies. Together, who knows what they can do for Amsterdam’s startup scene. Needless to say, this is an exciting time for AI, tech and startups in the city.

Become a corporate partner

We are specifically looking for corporate partners who are actively exploring ways to leverage AI and machine learning (ML) within their business, who want to help further develop Amsterdam as a key AI hub and who have extensive expertise and global networks in the field.

But what do you, as a business, get out of it? Naturally, being part of a unique collaboration between leading AI experts has its fair share of advantages: not only will you get to work with some truly ambitious startups and scale-ups, but you’ll also gain access to the latest AI and ML tech and get direct connections with a world-class network of global AI professionals.

Join the growing list of partners who are already part of this game-changing programme, including ACE, the Amsterdam Science Park, UvA Computer Science, Qualcomm AI Lab, StartupAmsterdam and Startup Village Amsterdam.

If you’re interested in collaborating – of if you need more information – please email Patrick de Zeeuw (Startupbootcamp’s CEO and co-founder) at or Erik Boer (ACE and StartupVillage’s CEO) at
