Global partnership with Unilever

The specialist music agency Big Sync Music has opened its new regional office in Amsterdam. Big Sync, which has other offices in London, New York, and Singapore, is a creative music licensing agency that works directly for brands. Having grown rapidly since its launch in 2013, last year the company announced a global partnership with Unilever, making Big Sync the company’s single supplier for music services across all of its brands. This covers areas such as music strategy, licensing, and creative music search.

As Big Sync Music’s CEO Dominic Caisley said, “We’ve created what is truly a unique model where we consolidate the music creation, licensing, and strategy of global companies through one unified hub. It’s a blue print that’s been tried and tested by Unilever for nearly two years now with great success.”

Unilever is a multinational consumer goods company co-headquartered in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. It owns more than 400 brands, such as Lipton, Hellmann's, Knorr, and Dove.

Amsterdam a flourishing creative hub

Big Sync will take its place alongside established Amsterdam music leaders such as the music agency Massive Music and dance-music giant ID&T. Likewise, the annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has grown into an established fixture on the dance-music landscape, and the city is a daily source of inspiration for the many creatives who live and work here. Amsterdam also enjoys flourishing scenes in the fields of gaming, advertising, apps, and TV production, and is home to some of the world’s leading advertising companies, including 72andSunny, Amsterdam Worldwide and DDB & Tribal. Fashion is also an ongoing success story, and Amsterdam is now home to some of the world’s biggest jeans brands, as well as newer artisanal denim producers.
