ITRA Global Chairman Chris Atwater said, “we are extremely pleased to be adding a highly qualified member, AREA Occupier Solutions, in the major European market of Amsterdam”. Atwater added: “The Netherlands is a key European transportation and business hub, so adding a top-notch ITRA member in Amsterdam was an important goal of ours.” With the move, ITRA Global continue to assemble their team of independent advisory firms in the commercial real estate sector.
Amsterdam a flourishing real estate market
Amsterdam’s real estate sector is flourishing. Conditions in Amsterdam are perfect for international investors in properties: real estate is competitively priced at the moment, and the city hasn’t lost its charm for either tourists or international businesses.
The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area offers more than two million square metres of office and industrial space, ranging from flexible offices to refurbished factories and from state-of-the-art warehouses to high-end locations. The Zuidas, for example, is a modern and easily accessible city district that’s home to many financial and business services companies such as Accenture, ING Group, Akzo Nobel, and Baker & McKenzie.
