Smart building in a bustling Amsterdam neighbourhood’s new 13,500 m2 office space (in Dutch) is located in the Piet Hein Buildings complex, near Central Station. The new complex is surrounded by restaurants and bars, cultural hot spots, and many other international corporations, all at walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station. It also offers a majestic view of IJ the river, with its busy marine traffic and imposing cruise ships.

Piet Hein Buildings consists of three buildings that share a central parking garage and a unique restaurant. A geothermal energy storage system provides the buildings with sustainable heating and cooling, and its underground car park includes charging points for electric vehicles. will be joining current tenants such as the Havenbedrijf Amsterdam, the Hay Group Teva, Corbion, Taxand, and Boer & Croon.

Growing globally, based in Amsterdam began in 1996, and has since grown into a global leader in online reservations. The company has long been based in Amsterdam, and opened its new global headquarters in 2012 in The Bank, a beautifully-restored former bank building located on bustling Rembrandtplein in the city centre. Booking’com’s location at The Bank employs about 1,200 people, from more than 70 different nationalities. 

When that building opened in 2012, CEO Darren Huston emphasized how important Amsterdam is to their business.
