Proximity to strategic partners

Long View recently announced the opening of their new Amsterdam office in a press statement. With this move the company joins a group of more than 2,300 international companies doing business in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Long View’s CEO Gord Mawhinney says the proximity to other international companies was one of the reasons for choosing Amsterdam. “With partners such as Cisco and Microsoft already operating regional headquarters in Holland’s largest city, and a multitude of languages spoken in the cosmopolitan Dutch capital, Amsterdam offers Long View an ideal first entry point to provide European-based customer service to many of our clients which in Long View fashion, will be world class.”

Qualified workforce

Companies with an office in the Amsterdam Area benefit from access to top talent from across the globe. People from over 178 different nationalities call this city home. Eighty percent of the workforce speaks English, making Amsterdam the largest Anglophone city in continental Europe. Ninety percent of the workforce speaks two or more languages.
