TIS hosts a European financial seminar in Amsterdam
To mark the opening of the company’s new Amsterdam base, TIS hosted its first international SEPA 777 event in Amsterdam. SEPA, short for Single European Payments Area, harmonises the way Europeans make euro payments. At the event, participating companies could learn how to manage their payments, IT systems and internal processes in view of the upcoming SEPA deadline in February 2014.
Why choose Amsterdam?
In a press statement, Jörg Wiemer, Chief Executive Officer at TIS, explained why the company chose Amsterdam for its initial international expansion: “We chose the Benelux region as our first step in going international since we already see strong customer demand and huge growth potential.”
The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area hosts a wide variety of internationally oriented service providers in the fields of professional services, ICT and tax consultancy – all working to ensure businesses in the area are served efficiently. The Amsterdam Area also offers the very best digital foundation for tech companies thanks to the largest data transport hub in the world, the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX).
