Welcoming innovative companies

The news was announced on the website of the Amsterdam Science Park where the MATRIX buildings are located. With the arrival of these new companies, the MATRIX Innovation Center is moving close to reaching its target of bringing young and innovative companies to the business spaces of Science Park Amsterdam. 

New tenants of MATRIX VI include: Fokker Aerostructures, Vancis, Sunset Laboratories, MakrOrganics and ClodLip. Almost all of the office and laboratory space is currently occupied by businesses.


The new MATRIX VI building offers 6,000 m2 combined office and laboratory spaces, designed specifically for the Life Sciences sector. The building is fully equipped with flexible, modern and sustainable equipment.

Science Park Amsterdam

Science Park Amsterdam is a knowledge hub in Amsterdam, and has proved itself as an extremely popular location for start-ups, as a centre for meeting new peers and finding collaborators. The knowledge base and research institutions already present at the science park include: the Amsterdam Internet Exchange, the University of Amsterdam, and SARA and NIKHEF institutes. Plans have been announced to open an Institute for Nanolithography in 2014, which will further strengthen the position of the Science Park as a centre for scientific research.
