Lucid expands EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam

Lucid Software, a US-founded company providing visual collaboration software, is expanding its EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam.

The company said it has more than tripled its headcount in the last year and now has more than 125 employees in the Netherlands. With nearly a third of its fiscal 2022 revenue coming from outside the US, it wants to continue its international growth from its EMEA office. Lucid's clients include Google, GE and NBC Universal.

Leading tech metropolis

"We are thrilled to expand our office space in response to the thriving market in the Netherlands and broader EMEA region,” said Lucid CEO Dave Grow. “This expansion is yet another indicator of the momentum and demand we are building for visual collaboration solutions.

"Amsterdam is a leading tech metropolis in Europe, and we continue to see it as an energetic and innovative hub to recruit an extremely talented and diverse workforce that represents all of EMEA and beyond."

Roderick de Greef, Lucid’s VP of sales, EMEA, added the expansion “further cements out commitment to the Netherlands”. He added: "The Netherlands business community's forward-thinking approach and commitment to cultivation will provide Lucid with the necessary support as we continue to expand and innovate throughout the region. We look forward to further strengthening our bond with the community for years to come."

Tech pioneers and promising startups

Lucid finds itself among a rich ecosystem of tech pioneers and fast-growing startups that benefit from Amsterdam's collaborative spirit, abundance of international and local talent, as well as its connectivity and advanced digital infrastructure.

The Dutch capital is the founding home of pioneers like WeTransfer, Adyen and Picnic, as well as the EMEA headquarters of corporations like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Netflix.
