Quantiphi expands to Europe with office in Amsterdam
US and India-based company Quantiphi will open a new service delivery, marketing and sales centre in Amsterdam this year.
Founded in 2013, Quantiphi is an AI-first digital engineering company that helps businesses solve complex problems through cloud and data-engineering practice and artificial intelligence research. Solutions include making products smarter, customer experiences frictionless, processes autonomous and businesses safer.
Speaking about the move, Quantiphi co-founder Asif Hasan said: “Given the city’s rapid development and transformation with the focus on technology, innovation and sustainability efforts, Amsterdam came out as a top choice for us.
Quantiphi plans to hire engineers for the new centre and to expand into research and development activities.
A centre for AI innovation
Amsterdam has quickly established itself as a hub for innovation in AI. As one of the most AI-ready cities in the world, it operates as an effective ‘living lab’ for AI solutions. Furthermore, local government-backed programmes such as AI Technology for People, ensure AI technology is developed and deployed in a responsible way, and that innovations improve society.
Thanks to a collaborative business environment, AI applications span many sectors. This week Microsoft chose Amsterdam to host a new AI research lab, looking at how machine learning can revolutionise molecular science.
