A growing body of evidence shows that diversity, equity and inclusion is a driver of innovation, profitability, creativity, resilience, better problem-solving abilities and stronger governance (McKinsey, 2020).
Building an inclusive Dutch startup ecosystem starts with you: young problem-solvers, entrepreneurial minds, and first-time founders who will disrupt how companies shape our collective future. At ASIF Ventures, they hope to boost your endeavours and lower the barriers to entry for aspiring and active entrepreneurs.

This week consists of 5 daily events and is for anyone who is underrepresented, untapped talent in the world of entrepreneurship, startups and venture capital. It is also for those who are not part of these groups but want to learn more about inclusive entrepreneurship and/or want to take an active role in building an inclusive startup ecosystem.
ASIF has recently conducted a survey on the barriers the untapped groups face in entering entrepreneurial careers in the Netherlands. According to their findings, three key barriers stand out: 1) lack of funding opportunities, 2) lack of networks and 3) lack of self-confidence. With our annual inclusive entrepreneurship week they want to tackle these barriers by providing access to their social capital and networks.
