A popular part of Uitmarkt is its focus on the kids. This year’s stellar programme showcases a wide variety of performances for kids big and small ensuring fun for everyone. The kids can take a masterclass in how to be a crook (toddlers only, got to start them young!), learn how to make beatbox arias inspired by Mozart’s The Magic Flute or fast-track their knowledge of theatrical kickboxing. The action doesn’t stop there. There’s also a host of wonderful workshops on offer from percussion to air-conducting and through to hip-hop classes led by choreographer Dalton Jansen.
