Canal Bus
Step on board the Canal Bus boats and discover Amsterdam from the water. You can hop on and off the Canal Bus boats wherever and whenever you like for the whole day, and the trip includes an interesting commentary about Amsterdam.
Green line, Red line, Blue line
The boats operate scheduled services to the main museums, attractions and shopping areas. Canal Bus runs three routes: the Green line, the Red line and the Blue Line. All the routes start at the Central Station. If you buy a day pass, you can also get discounts at museums, tourist attractions and restaurants.
Sights
The different routes go to several major sights. For example, the boats travel to Anne Frank’s house, the Rijksmuseum, NEMO (the largest science centre in the Netherlands) and the Tropenmuseum. If you want to go to a café or a restaurant, you can hop off at the Leidseplein or the Rembrandtplein. You can also visit the Maritime Museum as part of the theme year ‘Amsterdam, City on the water’.
Theme Cruises
Canal Company also offers several theme cruises, such as the Jazz Cruise or Pizza cruise, as well as dinner cruises. Boats can be rented our for parties, cocktail cruises & candlelight cruises as well.

Water Taxi
The 'Amsterdamse Water Taxi Centrale' offers a range of boats with a captain and seating from 8 to 40 persons. These ‘floating limos’ feature a well-stocked minibar and stereo radio/cassette player. With plenty of space outside and a heated passenger cabin, they operate all year round. Ideal for transportation from hotel to theatre, café, restaurant or even the city hall, Water Taxis also offer culinary discovery cruises, a high-tea or a multiple-course dinner.

Museum Boot
Whether you want to shop, soak up some culture or simply enjoy a boat tour on Amsterdam’s famous canals – the Museum Boat is your ideal means of transport. With a day ticket for the museum boat you can for example visit NEMO, the largest hands-on science museum in the Netherlands. The boat will moor at the jetty next to NEMO. Afterwards, you can continue on your journey to for example Artis Zoo, the Rijksmuseum or Central Station. The Museum Boat operates all day long according to a fixed schedule. You can disembark at seven leading attractions, such as the Stopera, Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank house, Scheepvaartmuseum (MaritimeMuseum) and Central Station. You can then either visit the museums or stroll down the shopping streets. A Museum Boat day ticket you can hop on and off the boat as often as you like; your ticket will also grant you discounts on the admission charges of most of the museums.

Supper Cruises
For a truly unique experince, look to one of Amsterdam's favourite night club which recently took to water themselves. The supperclub, an original, hip Amsterdam club now located in Milan and San Francisco, offers two hydro-opportunities for those wanting to take the experience onto H20.
The supperclubboat offers cruises & candle light against hip sounds and a relaxed atmosphere. The shiek, re-furbished supperclubcruise 'Oase', offers a lounge on water in a totally modern refurbished shipping boat from the 1960's. Oase is an easygoing alternative to the beach from June through mid-September. On warm summer days, you can step aboard supperclub cruise and spend the whole day outdoors on the deck lying in the sun, dancing, drinking and eating.
