In fact, with hundreds of different types of condoms, in an amazing array of sizes & styles – even glow in the dark and flavoured versions – the Condomerie is more camp candy store than chemist’s counter. Men, women, old, young, gay or straight, all visitors are welcomed, informed, titillated and teased into buying the perfect fit to make their nether-regions Netherlandic chic.

Serious Business
In Amsterdam, condoms ceased being the subject of sinister AIDS warnings or sniggering schoolboys and came out loud and proud a long time ago. But thanks to places such as the Condomerie, safe sex has been made a serious business in which much thought should be invested. The shop also stocks an extensive array of AIDS-related educational materials as well as pins, T-shirts, Safe Sex posters & artwork.
