Anne Frank Tree

During Anne Frank's time in the Achterhuis (the Backhouse), Anne Frank would often look out the window at the chestnut tree, also mentioning it a few times in her diary. Various examinations have indicated that the tree is so diseased that recovery is not possible and therefore felling the tree is the only realistic option.

Here you will find press information regarding the Anne Frank Tree.
