International Schools
Amsterdam is one of the most favoured locations in Europe for international companies and thus expatriate families thanks to the ease of living. For example, while the Dutch have a strong educational system, there is also the possibility of international schooling for children of mobile families from the global workforce.
For those who prefer to educate their children in an international environment, here are some of the schools available in the Amsterdam Region:
International School of Amsterdam (3 - 18 years)
The International School of Amsterdam (ISA) has been meeting the educational needs of the international community of the greater Amsterdam area for four decades. ISA is a non-profit school providing education for students from 3 to 18 years of age (from Pre-School through Grade 13) by offering stimulating and creative academic programmes in a secure and caring environment. ISA provides a smooth transition to and from other national and international schools and education is based upon a full International Baccalaureate Programme. They are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the European Council of International Schools.
The school's purpose-built campus is located in a quiet residential suburb of Amsterdam, just minutes away from the thriving commercial, industrial and cultural city.
