Qualora si decida di noleggiare una bicicletta, sarà necessario considerare alcuni importanti aspetti. Se si decide di svoltare a sinistra, è obbligatorio dare la precedenza a tutto il traffico che procede dritto (frontale e retrostante) prima di proseguire segnalando con la mano la direzione in cui si intende svoltare.
Durante la marcia è consigliabile prestare attenzione a non rimanere bloccati con le ruote nei binari del tram, poiché, in caso contrario, è possibile perdere il controllo del manubrio e cadere a terra.
