Ristoranti
I tempi in cui i giudizi di disprezzo si sprecavano sul livello gastronomico dei ristoranti di Amsterdam sono ormai terminati da tanto. Amsterdam e dintorni contano 9 ristoranti dotati di una stella Michelin: ciò dimostra la costante ascesa che la città sta compiendo dal punto di vista gastronomico. Benché il rapporto qualità-prezzo possa essere definito discreto, è ovviamente necessario dotarsi di un portafoglio ben fornito.
Una scelta infinita
Fortunatamente esistono sufficienti alternative anche per gli intenditori meno facoltosi. Ad Amsterdam si possono infatti trovare ristoranti di qualsiasi nazionalità. Cucina italiana, spagnola, tailandese, cinese, tibetana, nepalese, etiope, turca e chi più ne ha, più ne metta. Senza contare poi, gli innumerevoli ristoranti di cucina vegetariana e/o biologica tutti di primissima qualità: un aspetto questo, in cui Amsterdam eccelle.
Un panino con la polpetta?
Se volete abbandonarvi a qualcosa di sfizioso, Amsterdam è una vera Mecca: in nessun’altra città al mondo potrete incontrare una scelta così ampia e variegata di posti in cui rifocillarsi fino a notte fonda. Pressoché in ogni angolo del centro è possibile trovare locali dove gustare un kebab (con abbondantissima salsa all’aglio) o un falaffel. Se cercate qualcosa di più olandese, potete ovviamente recarvi anche da FEBO, per sperimentare la sensazione di mangiare le tipiche crocchette o i sofficini al formaggio prelevandoli dal distributore automatico.
