If you are planning a visit to Amsterdam, Camping Zeeburg can offer you the perfect accommodation. This comfortable campsite is located on a small island in the IJmeer, on the east side of the city. The city centre (Dam Square) is a mere 10 to 15 minute tram ride away (frequency: every 7 minutes).
The campsite is open throughout the year and offers all the modern facilities that guarantee a comfortable and pleasant stay; a super market (fresh croissants, coffee and bread every day), a bar/restaurant (breakfast service and meals), launderette with drier, camper service and so on. You can also rent bikes (and canoes!), which allow you to reach the city centre in only 20 minutes.
The campsite has a unique atmosphere, similar to that of the city of Amsterdam: open, friendly and tolerant. Furthermore, it offers cultural activities during the high season and a petting zoo. Camping Zeeburg is the starting point for various walking and bicycle routes that allow you to discover the surroundings of Amsterdam, which are definitely worth a longer stay.
If you don't have a tent or caravan, you can also spend the night in one of the 2 or 4 person cabins or wagonettes with a bunck bed, table, chairs, bed linen and heating. The wagonettes also have a private little veranda. It is advisable to reserve for these cabins and wagonettes.
