In a hidden street not far from the busy Kalverstraat is the boutique Barrio. The owners call it a mix store because of the interesting mix of clothes (for example, Loreak Mendian and Insight), shoes (Vans), magazines, books, LPs and CDs. There is even a hairdresser in this amusingly-designed shop. They carry quality ‘street’ fashion with a definite creative edge.
